Twenty ten sounds so weird to me. Unless it's preceded by "the year" and it's in a song or something... I will stick with two thousand ten, I don't care what anyone else says. Especially since all of the other languages I study use the same format.

A new decade...2010. twenty ten.
in french we do say "deux mille dix". salutations distinguées
