My Mr. Keating Moment

DO YOU REMEMBER the scene in Dead Poet's Soceity where John Keating, the character played by Robin Williams, tells a student named Gerard Pitts that he has an 'unfortunate last name'? Well, I might have one that beats that. I have a 4eme student whose last name is...Fouqumé.

That's actually not that bad when you pronounce it in French. But I had a classlist generated in English and therefore it did not have the accent over the last 'e'. That made for a rather awkward moment during the first day of class.

Trust me, the accent really helps.
